Really love the list of ways to get unstuck, and "The Writing Club" is a new discovery!

So far the only way I've found to unblock myself is to get up and go for a walk, run or some type of physical activity. The gears up there work a bit better somehow.

Thanks for this Ben. I was an angry young man who did a Politics degree in the 90s in London. I graduated, got curious about the internet when in my first paid full time job at a university and found myself at AOL as a Producer in 1996. Thirty years later I’m still curious and have co-created a platform called Dabbble.app to encourage young people who are stuck to try short creative experiences with organisations near them. I’m not expecting to make money from this but I am learning in my 50s how to work with 20 year olds and vice versa. We’ve also worked out how to make it ok to say ‘I tried it but it’s not for me’ when much other advice between ages of 16-25 currently says focus on one thing and find your passion. I agree with you- you can’t find your passion until you’ve tried and ruled many things things out. I’ve been to lucky to run internet and VR businesses, be a teacher of art, game design and coding all because I chose to explore many books :-) I’ll now look at the Matt Haig book - thanks and keep being curious ;) Jim Byford
