Excellent advice. I used a similar system, and I’d add two things that matter even before the application workflow itself.
First, cold applications barely work in tech now. A strong process helps, but your odds improve a lot if you can get a referral before applying.
Second, tailoring your CV from scratch for every single role can become a huge time sink, and even then it’s often only 90% right. What worked better for me was narrowing my search to 5 to 7 specific role types and building a strong CV version for each one.
